Our normal shipping mode is USPS priority mail insured, so if you don't request premium shipping that's how it will go automatically. We charge only for postage, with no hidden handling or packing fees, but we've found that uninsured packages are much more likely to disappear during shipping, and we do require a delivery confirmation from the post office. Your final invoice, which will be included with your shipped order, will reflect the actual charges incurred, based on the final package weight. Expedited (Premium) shipping is available through FedEx or UPS for an additional charge, just select "premium shipping" when finalizing your order, and we'll upgrade the shipment to FedEx 2nd Day; or call in your order and we're happy to provide whatever service you request. (We still only charge you the actual FedEx or UPS fees) During checkout, our shopping cart software will provide you with an estimate of shipping costs, based on the total order amount. This is just an estimate (and we've noticed that the software is not always consistent) and is not always accurate, since weight is the main factor and we can't know exactly what your package will weigh until we've packed it. We do our best to pack securely while keeping size and weight to a minimum to save you money when we can. We will use flat-rate boxes whenever we can if it saves you postage. Anything to please! PLEASE NOTE: Our new Room & Linen Sprays contain pure perfumer's alcohol, which is considered by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to be a hazardous material. Therefore, the only way we can legally and safely ship these is through surface mail (Parcel Post) which unfortunately from Hawaii means a big, slow mail boat. This can take anywhere from 3-6 weeks, depending on whether you get lucky and how far away you live; obviously, shipments to the east coast take longer than to the west coast. Also, they must be packed with absorbent padding, which means a bit more weight on the filler, but safety first (not to mention the $65,000 fines if you're caught breaking the rules!) So, while we realize it's inconvenient, we're stuck with it for now. Plan ahead, be patient, and it will pay off. We promise you they're worth the wait!
