About Our Products First, we want to make sure you know we don't approve of or engage in any kind of animal testing! We are working on a plan where our pets will do up to 65% of the housework while we're here making our great products, but we'll have to keep you posted on how that works out! At Kopa Haiku, our products are made from the very
best ingredients we can find. Using only the highest quality ingredients
ensures that we consistently achieve exceptional results. With rare exceptions
(and always duly noted thereon), our products contain Macadamia Nut oil and
Kukui Nut oil for their outstanding skin-care properties. Both are easily
absorbed by the skin, and both are high in linoleic and linolenic acids, which aid your skin
in it's natural rejuvenation process. You will notice
a marked difference in how your skin feels after using our bath and body
products. We avoid any gratuitous additions to our products; if something
doesn't actually benefit your skin, we won't use it (that's why we don't have
brightly-colored or glittered soaps). We use minimal amounts of antibacterial
and antimicrobials in our lotions and scrubs; soaps and oils are
preservative-free. This means that our products are very mild and suitable for
all skin types, but with a bit shorter of a shelf-life than some. Use them up
while they're fresh! Don't worry about stocking up; we promise to keep making
more! CREAM SOAPS All of our Cream soaps are hand milled from our own hand-made soap base, and they are just that ~ incredibly creamy. They will last well if you treat them right. If you follow one basic rule, you and your soap can have many happy hours together ~ always leave your soap in a well drained, dry spot in between uses. Any soap left in a wet container will turn soggy, handmade soaps especially, and ours is no exception. For more info on our soaps, see our Soap page. BODY LOTIONS Made from all natural ingredients, with added Kukui Nut Oil to smooth and nourish your skin, our body lotions won't rinse off or wear off, keeping you soft and fragrant after shower or beach! Softly scented to allow for all-over body coverage, our fragrances won't overwhelm you even when slathered onto extra-dry skin. Very gentled and mild, suitable for just about everybody! SALT GLOW EXFOLIATING SCRUBS Most salt scrubs are greasy, leaving you feeling like you just rubbed on a layer of vaseline! Not ours. We formulated our scrub with a rich selection of tropical oils, butters, emulsifiers (corn and soy-based) to give you a nice, brisk scrub and rinse away the dead, rough skin, leaving you perfectly moisturized and not greasy. It's a whole different animal, so to speak. Try it, we're sure you'll agree! And, for those who don't like the brisk scrub of a direct application, it can be used in a warm bath as a moisturizing bath salt, giving you all the benefits of the mineral content of the Dead Sea Salts and the moisturizing benefits of the oils and butters without the abrasion. Either way, your skin will feel the difference! BATH BODY AND MASSAGE OILS Made purely from our own rich blend of light, nourishing oils that are easily absorbed by the skin and full of nutrients to soothe, smooth, nourish, and scent your skin with the softly delicious smells of paradise! Contains a high percentage (30%!) of Macadamia Nut and Kukui Nut oils in a rich base of pure Sweet Almond oil. All yours to enjoy in the bath or on the massage table. Either way, your skin will thank you. Pure. Simple. Sweet! BUBBLE BATH AND SHOWER GELS A liquid product suitable for use in a bath or shower, this is the only glycerin-based product we make, and that's just because it's a really good one! Leaves your skin soft, silky smooth and fragrant no matter how you wash it, you'll enjoy the clouds of bubbles or lather and our fabulous fragrances.
